The Woodstack paintings are based on material close to home in central Kansas, It becomes more common to see large piles of tree limbs from cleared land or other phenomena (floods, storms etc.). These piles appear as corpses in a mass grave. The diagrams address interest in various traditions and ideas relating to death and transmigration.
